Hey y'all. Just a couple important updates for you.

1) Camp is next week! Therefore I will be gone from the first through the eighth. ^^ I won't have internet access unless they surprise me and reopen the internet thingie, but even though I probably wouldn't be on dA much. So yeah, just giving you a heads-up that I won't be around. C:

2) Sorry for not posting much lately and being hecka slow at answering comments. D: The fatal combination of real life, RPing, and a whole new slew of computer games has been eating up my time. However, I wanna try to catch up with everything before I leave, so if you're waiting on a response from me, chances are you'll get on either today or tomorrow. <3 And I /might/ post something before I go, but that depends on how busy I am tomorrow. My boyfriend might be coming over to watch Miyazaki, in which case, I probably won't have time to do much art. ;]

3) Mixed feelings on Naruto right now. Kakashi Gaiden was AMAZING animated, but that last chapter was like a bad joke...somehow both funny and painful. So sick of this stupid NaruSaku!! I mean, you know, if he did it WELL, I might be able to tolerate it or even come to like it, but the way he's making Sakura so...weak...is just...ugh. At least the kages are being amusing. xD I continue to grow fonder of Danzou. "I like the direction things are moving..." He's such a stereotypical villain. <3 Gotta respect it.

4) Volume 43 makes me cry. But the cover is the best yet. <3 omg.

Hey guys! It's been a while since I updated my journal, huh? Well, that's because not much has been going on. Sorry to be boring.

However! While we're here, I wanted to feature a friend of mine who is a brilliant artist but could use some more views. ~BlackSandPiper has an incredibly original style that's really versatile and unique; you really have to appreciate it on a site where so many artists end up running together and looking the same. She's going to be at SacAnime this August trying to earn money for college, and I believe she sells prints and things online, so I hope you'll check out her gallery and at least see what she's got!






Here's some of my personal favorites of hers. :3 It's just a sampling of the awesome things she has in her gallery, but I thought I'd give you guys a taste of the kinds of things she draws - AKA pretty much anything you can think of. D:

Okay, everytime this journal shows up in your inbox, I'm on the chat thing again. xD And now I have...RULES! *dundundundun*

Rules
1. Be appropriate. PG with occasional PG-13 moments is good. Avoid excessive perversion. Keep the swearing to a minimum. xD I'm gonna be a little lax on this one (because you guys aren't usually too bad about it), but if it gets excessive, just remember that a lot of people (myself included) are on public computers - I don't want my little brother walking by and asking why I'm talking to people who use the f-word. >> I don't feel like explaining that. And a lot of people are minors or young kids. Just be sensitive to the room. A little here and there for humor's sake won't get you in trouble, but if I ask you to stop and you don't, I'll get annoyed.
2. Be nice. If you're just joining us in the chat, you might question why I'd even try to put this rule here, because there tends to be a lot of teasing in this chatroom and it might seem kinda mean sometimes. But we're all friends, so we can do that - so if you don't know someone very well, or someone might be really offended by it, it's best to just keep it to yourself. But as you get to know people, it's okay to be a little mean here and there. ;D Just be clear that it's all in jest.
3. Be happy. Don't come in just to whine or be emo. If you're having a bad day, that's alright; we'll be happy to try to distract you for a while. But, please, no pity parties. Dx Along the same lines, trying to bring all the attention to yourself will most likely result in being ignored, lol. (That last part's not a rule; just a guideline. Don't be afraid to speak up, either! I like seeing new people in the chat. )
4. No one ever loses the Game in the chatroom (you, however, just did. ^^)

OwnerOfMySoul - This is ~MortaleRedWolf's ranking, as the owner of my soul. xD She has mod powers.
KabuStalkers - This is the general member's ranking. To acquire this rank, you must complete a mission for me - ask me in the chat sometime if you want to be assigned a mission and move up in the ranks.
