Hmm. <3 There are a few things you might be asking yourself upon viewing this.

Why does Obito have cat ears?
What is Obito saying?
What are Kakashi and Rin thinking?
Why is Marie's lineart so messy?!

1.) Because I said so.
2.) "I'm gonna beat you all, dattebayo!" ...Or something along those lines. xD
3.) Lil' Kaka': ...Baka.
Rin: Eh. *shrug* It's cute. ^_^
4.) Because I drew this straight onto the tablet... Oho.

And that's all the explanation I feel like posting right now. Might post a fuller description later, but I gotta get off now. =3 *tired*

Alright, sorry for the rushed description before. xD But now I'm good. ^^

Well... The idea here is that Minato (Fourth Hokage) has just mentioned to his team of young genin that the chunin exams are coming up. Although they're all eager at first, he proceeds to warn them that it will be a grueling challenge, giving them a couple horror stories to beef up his point. But none of them are scared off by his warning - Obito voices the opinions of all three when he declares his intentions to beat everyone else and become Konoha's next Chunin. x]

Yup. That's the scenario. I tried a few new things with this. Obviously it's the first time I've done a serious picture straight onto the tablet. And it's also my first time drawing Obito, and the Sharingan. (Young Kakashi and Rin, too.) And I put more effort into the background than is normal... So yes. Feedback is very much appreciated, especially since this is for a contest. <3 According to the rules of the contest, I can enter up to two pictures, so I might try to improve on this one and do another, if you have any suggestions.

...The kitty ears really are just for my own enjoyment. I probably should have left them out, but he was just sooo cute with them, I couldn't help it. <3 I've recently developed an obsession with cat-boys... Gomenasai for being terribly stereotypical.
