...And thus, I got this massive urge to draw something with Kabuto and clocks. Broken clocks. Therefore - this.

I'm so proud of this. <3 Because I actually finished it. :'D I started this like a month or more ago, as a traditional picture, and just never posted it because I didn't like how it turned out. I thought I'd never get around to it, but whaddya know, I did! ^^ I'm happy about that.

And also the fact that it turned out better than I expected. Crazy amounts of layers on this, though. D:

Anyway, my own personal version of Kabuto has this thing about time...and how it's the only thing he can't outrun. You can agree with me or not, but it makes sense to me. It's basically the theme of my fanfic "Places You Fear the Most". ^^ WHICH YOU SHOULD ALL GO READ. D: BECAUSE YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO. AND I WRITE A MEAN FANFIC, YES I DO. 8D *shot*

...but yeah, those two songs and my fanfic were the inspiration for this. D: So if you're in the mood, I actually really would appreciate it if you'd check it out. xD It's short, because it's not so much of a story as an exploration of Kabuto's thoughts, so hey... I could write a critique.... I could but I'd suck at it.

The composition is well done and the quotes match it very well. There is depth in the kunai and in the figure but the clock somehow takes away from it.
The large white part that the glass is missing is probably what draws the eye first since it has contrast against the other darkness of the piece. Though it looks like there is the other half of the figure in it.

:3 other than that. I love it.

Kukuku, I like it...
It's got a very nice, uniform feeling to it. The whole thing like, "fits". I like the softness of the shading and colors.
And nice song choices too...
I need to try that lifehouse one...
