A carefree smile to mask the monster within...

Harr. This picture gave me so much trouble with the arrangement. I liked the pictures I drew, but originally they were supposed to be part of a triptych - except that the third part gave me a lot of trouble and I gave up on it. (Kabuchimaru is difficult.) So yeah...I'm only half-pleased with how it came out, but I was glad to have it done. It was sitting on my computer, unfinished, the whole time I was in LA...bugging the living daylights out of me. Needless to say, it was the first thing on my "to-do" list when we got back.

The quotes are from the manga, and Kabuto was the one who spoke both of them. I tried to draw him more true to the manga style in this picture. I have a tendency to shoujo-ize him, I think... Haha, I still did, actually. xD Geez, the blush on that first picture is... *shrug* Well, I was accenting his appearance of innocence and friendliness, alright? So what if it came out a little...girly. >> *cough*

Haha. For being rather an anti-fan of shounen-ai, I sure do like gay-looking guys... UT___T Harr.
